Dust, as we now know, is a health concern in many workplaces such as agriculture, lumber, food processing and other high dust occurring industries. But, high concentrations of dust also pose a serious safety concern.
Dust explosions occur when enough dust accumulates in a confined space and is exposed to an ignition source in the presence of oxygen or other oxidizing gaseous mediums.
